TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Last updated: August 27, 2026

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Artistry Is Life LLC website and your submission of a tattoo-project inquiry. By using this website or submitting information through it, you agree to these terms.

ABOUT ARTISTRY IS LIFE

Artistry Is Life LLC is an independent art company offering custom tattoo artistry, creative services, and related content. Tattoo services are currently performed by Randy “SVGE” Harrell at Formula Tattoo in Addison, Texas.

TATTOO INQUIRIES

Submitting an inquiry does not guarantee that a project will be accepted, quoted, scheduled, or completed.

Each request is reviewed based on artistic fit, subject matter, placement, scale, schedule, budget, and other relevant considerations. We reserve the right to accept or decline any project at our discretion.

An appointment is not confirmed until:

• The project has been reviewed and accepted
• A date and time have been agreed upon
• Any required client information has been received
• The required deposit has been paid
• Written confirmation has been provided

PRICING AND PAYMENT

Prices shown or discussed before a complete consultation are estimates unless expressly identified as a final quote. Pricing may depend on size, placement, complexity, design time, expected session length, and the number of sessions required.

Additional work, major design changes, extended sessions, or changes in project scope may affect the final price.

Accepted payment methods, installment options, deposits, and remaining balances may be processed through TattMe or another approved payment provider.

DEPOSITS, CANCELLATIONS, AND RESCHEDULING

Any deposit, cancellation, late-arrival, no-show, and rescheduling terms presented to you during booking or before payment become part of these Terms and Conditions.

Those project-specific booking terms control if they differ from the general information on this website. Please review them carefully before submitting a deposit.

Deposits do not confirm an appointment until written confirmation is issued. Failure to follow the stated cancellation, rescheduling, or arrival policy may result in loss of the deposit and require a new deposit before another appointment is scheduled.

CLIENT ELIGIBILITY AND IDENTIFICATION

Clients must provide valid government-issued photo identification showing their date of birth before receiving tattoo services.

Tattoo services are intended for adults age 18 or older. Artistry Is Life LLC does not agree to tattoo a minor unless the request is expressly approved in advance and satisfies every applicable legal and studio requirement.

The artist or studio may refuse or postpone service when identification, legal eligibility, sobriety, health, safety, skin condition, conduct, or informed consent is in question.

DESIGN PROCESS AND REVISIONS

Custom designs are developed according to the approved concept, placement, scale, and creative direction discussed with the client.

Reasonable adjustments may be discussed before tattooing begins. Major changes to the subject, style, placement, composition, or scope may require additional design time, a revised quote, rescheduling, or a new deposit.

The final design may be presented near the appointment date. Preliminary sketches, working files, and unused concepts are not automatically provided to the client.

REFERENCE IMAGES

Reference images are used for inspiration and communication. Clients are responsible for having permission to submit photographs or artwork they do not own.

Artistry Is Life LLC will not knowingly reproduce another artist’s custom tattoo or copyrighted artwork exactly. The final design may be altered to create an original work and to improve its suitability for tattooing.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Artistry Is Life LLC and the artist retain copyright and intellectual-property rights in original designs, drawings, photographs, videos, website content, brand elements, and other creative materials.

Payment for tattoo services grants the client the right to wear the completed tattoo. It does not automatically transfer ownership of the underlying design or grant permission to reproduce, sell, license, merchandise, or commercially exploit the artwork.

No website content may be copied, republished, altered, sold, or used commercially without written permission.

PHOTOGRAPHY AND PORTFOLIO USE

Photographs or videos may be requested to document completed work. Any permission to use identifiable client photographs, video, audio, testimonials, or personal stories for portfolio, website, social-media, editorial, or promotional purposes may be addressed separately.

Submitting an inquiry or reference image alone does not grant permission to publish the client’s identity or submitted materials.

HEALTH, SAFETY, AND AFTERCARE

Tattooing involves inherent risks, including discomfort, bleeding, swelling, allergic reaction, infection, scarring, and variations in healing or pigment retention.

Clients must honestly disclose relevant information requested by the artist or studio and follow all preparation and aftercare instructions. Clients should consult a qualified medical professional regarding medical conditions, medications, allergies, pregnancy, healing concerns, or whether receiving a tattoo is appropriate for them.

Artistry Is Life LLC does not provide medical advice and cannot guarantee a particular healing outcome. Results may vary based on skin, placement, aftercare, lifestyle, sun exposure, and other factors outside the artist’s control.

Additional consent, release, and health forms completed at the studio are incorporated into the service agreement and control for the tattoo procedure itself.

ARTISTIC RESULTS

Tattooing is a handmade artistic service performed on living skin. Digital mockups, drawings, photographs, and healed examples are illustrative and do not guarantee an identical result.

Appearance may change during healing and over time. Natural differences in skin tone, texture, anatomy, movement, aging, and aftercare can affect the finished tattoo.
